Allboard certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons are required to pass both a thorough written qualifying examination and a rigorous oral certifying examination to be certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Leung has three professional degrees. He graduated with a degree in pharmacy from the University of British Columbia, Canada, followed by his dental degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, Michigan and his medical degree from the University of Michigan. After completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center, he joined the Vancouver Oral Surgery Group in July 2008.
Dr. Leung’s training included extensive Oral and Maxillofacial surgical procedures and reconstruction and has authored several publications. “Continuing education is a very important part of my life. Only through continuing education can I provide the best Oral Surgical care for my patients.” During his spare time, Dr. Leung enjoys the many outdoor activities offered by the Pacific Northwest with his wife Chung-ah Jang (also a dentist) and his 2 sons, Ethan and Kyle.
